Psychosocial risk is now a legal requirement in Brazil

Brazil's NR-1 occupational risk management rule no longer stops at physical and chemical hazards. If your group operates in Brazil, the question is whether the mental strain of that operation is being assessed at all.

What the rule requires

NR-1 makes occupational risk management and a written risk-management programme mandatory for employers in Brazil. The labour ministry has been explicit: psychosocial risk — chronic strain, harassment, burnout — is an occupational risk the company must map and mitigate, not a private matter of the employee.

Where Eixo4 comes in

We turn something usually treated as subjective — organizational climate — into a risk matrix. With the Exora platform and the PENSAR® Method, your health-and-safety and HR teams get consolidated evidence they can attach to compliance policy, showing the company acts on prevention rather than reacting to claims.

Burnout is an occupational phenomenon.

The WHO classifies burnout in ICD-11 as an occupational phenomenon resulting from unmanaged workplace stress — explicitly not a medical condition of the individual. The origin it points to is how work is organized.
